The new wheel was originally designed for mileage of 500 thousand km, but the rubber tread does not withstand more than 180 – 200 thousand km and is erased, although the frame can withstand another 400 thousand km. Our equipment allows you to weld a new tread onto the old frame, thereby prolonging the service life of the wheel in one and a half to two times.
Unfortunately, today not all Kazakhstan transport companies have learned to count money. The quality of our roads and the poor preparedness of the technical personnel of transport companies really reduce the service life of rubber, and this expense item is the most tangible for all transport workers. So we are trying to explain to the owners of trucking companies that with proper operation of cars they can get real savings, almost 2 times! To do this, you need to fix the problems in the wheels on time, monitor the pressure in the tires, in a word, with constant attention to control the process of operation of the car. Subject to these conditions, fleets will save only 30-40% on tires!
Trans-leasing.KZ JSC, which is the largest in Kazakhstan and currently has about 120 tractors, spends about 150 thousand dollars a year on rubber. The park is equipped with 50% fatty rubber, which saves about 40-50 thousand dollars.
Traffic safety
In addition to economic benefits, there is such an indicator as traffic safety. Transport companies are trying to use inexpensive rubber made using outdated technology and outdated design. It is clear that in this case the car “holds the road” worse: the braking distance is longer, and there is more risk of creating an emergency on the road. Our equipment allows the use of frames from any manufacturer. Their trailers are fully equipped with welded wheels, they use “welding” and for tractors.

Now let’s talk about guarantees. On the recommendation of our European partner, we used to give a full all-wheel guarantee. But life has made some adjustments. Everyone knows that our transportation conditions are far from European: constant overload, poor quality of roads, illiterate actions of drivers and mechanics of transport companies. With all this in mind, we stopped giving a guarantee for the frame, and we give it only for our work – for wear on the tread pattern.
Almost no automobile company has equipment for mounting. This leads to the fact that already at the stage of razbortovki / razbartovka rubber mechanical damage to the frame. Unprofessional maintenance and the use of improvised tools for vulcanizing the cut lead to depressurization, and therefore to damage to steel cord, which tends to rust, which in turn leads to long-term (after 50 thousand kilometers) wheel loss.
