Short description (main features)

The rear-loading garbage truck KO-456-20 is a specialized Russian car manufacturer Kommash, assembled on the basis of the Almatruck-321S014 chassis (reinforced double frame on air bags), 4×2.

Designed for loading solid household waste manually or with a tipper from containers with a capacity of 0.12 to 1.1 cubic meters. in the receiving bucket, their compaction, transportation and unloading in places of disposal.

1. The composition of the basic configuration

The special equipment of the garbage truck includes: a body, a tailgate with a pressing mechanism, an ejector plate with a telescopic hydraulic cylinder, a container tipper, a hydraulic system, a transmission, and electrical equipment.

2. Body

The new rectangular-elliptical body shape has an enlarged section. The body shell is made of alloy steel grade 10 HSND with a thickness of 4 mm, thereby increasing the strength of the body.

The ejector plate moves along the central guide beam, which prevents wedging of the plate at the end of loading and facilitates maintenance of the plate (wear control and replacement of fluoroplastic sliders).

3. Rear side

The resource of work of a back board and effort of pressing is increased. The bucket (receiving hopper), with an increased volume, is made of high-strength 6 mm thick RAEX400 steel. The strength of the pressing and feeding plates has been increased due to structural changes and the use of high-strength RAEX400 steel. The pressing force is increased due to changes in the design of hydraulic cylinders (pressing is provided by the piston cavity of the hydraulic cylinders). The rods of the hydraulic cylinders are outside the area of ​​contact with debris, which eliminates their damage and leakage of oil from the hydraulic cylinders.

Instead of rollers, fluoroplastic sliders are used to move the feed plate in the guides, which eliminates premature wear and deformation of the guides.

5. Hydraulic system

Reliable and smooth operation of all mechanisms of the garbage truck is provided by high-quality and high-precision hydraulics. The hydraulic system is made of galvanized DIN pipes on the cut-in rings and includes a 10-micron pressure and drain filter.

The paintwork in combination with continuous welds reliably protects metal structures from corrosion. High pressure metal hoses conforming to the European DIN standard eliminate the risk of oil rupture and leakage at the joints.
